In Loving Memory...

My first breed was Border Collies, and these girls hold an incredibly special place in my heart. I miss them daily.

Norah

February 15, 2004 - September 24, 2018

There is not enough I can say about Norah. I adopted Norah when she was about ten months old, from a man who used her relatives on his livestock. She came from a long line of working dogs. She was my first dog of my own, and my partner through all of my adult life. We did everything together. She was my barn dog, my traveling dog, my work dog and my perfect companion. I could rely on her in any setting and she was entirely bombproof. We learned herding and agility together. You could not ask for a more dependable and fun dog. I miss her terribly. 

Suzu

February 15, 2001 - January 24, 2016

Suzu was the most unassuming, sweet girl imaginable. She was the dog who never pushed for attention, but was so happy and grateful when she got it. She was loving and gentle and never a problem in her whole life. She was great with all dogs and people and had tremendous herding talent, but a great off switch. Suzu was born to be a herding dog, and that was where she thrived. If I could, I would have ten of her. I miss that gentle old girl.

Jason

March 17, 2009 - May 7, 2019

Jason was my "Gateway Beezer". He was so amazing that he led to many others. He was my first show and performance dog, and we traveled all over the country together and had many adventures with many friends. He was a phenomenal lure coursing dog, a fun and exciting show dog, and a perfect pet. There are no words to express what a special boy he was and how much he is missed.

Fenix

June 6, 2011 - December 28, 2020

Fenix was a hilarious, weird, incredibly sweet dog. He was the reason for many people becoming lifetime Ibizan owners. He's the reason I ended up with Aiden, and was my second love in the Ibizan breed. He was a gentle soul who was always ready with a cuddle, and his quirky ways led to many laughs and "Huggins" stories. He is missed terribly by many people.

February 25, 2014 - August 31, 2021

Aiden was my angel. We knew about his heart problem from the time he was a young puppy, and he beat so many odds to make it as long as he did. He survived purely through the power of love! There's no way to explain what he meant to me, and what he will always mean to me. There's not a moment we spent together that I would sacrifice. 
August 6, 2008 - August 10, 2023

Hanzo was a very special boy who lived a long and happy life. He was a rescue found as a puppy, and he was a wonderful companion who raised many puppies for me. He has an amazing, solid temperament and was a star in every situation. 

Niko

DOB: August 13, 2013 - November 23, 2025

Niko was my Hippie dog - I called him my Flower Child. I don't think he had a bad day in his whole life. He was the happiest boy, and lived a life of sunshine and rainbows. He's dearly missed.​

Dean

DOB: February 12, 2016 - December 2, 2025

Dean was the sweetest, most loving boy. He loved to give gifts and always welcomed people with a special prize and a tail spinning in circles. He was lost far too young. I miss him terribly.

Rhys
DOB: September 9, 2011 - February 17, 2026

Rhys was my last foster dog and my first foster failure. Some sweet teenagers found him in their trash can and brought him to the vet clinic I worked at. It was love at first sight for both of us, and I ended up with an extremely devoted and floppy dog.
